The 16th ASEAN-Korea
Future-Oriented Youth Exchange Programme: ASEAN-Korea Youth Square
invites youths from ASEAN member states and Korea to present their
cultures and history through sports activities. Participants are given
an opportunity to be inspired and motivated to formulate future,
building a great foundation of Pan-Asian community in the global
society.
The theme of The 16th
ASEAN-Korea Future-Oriented Youth Exchange Programme: ASEAN-Korea
Youth Square is ASEAN-Korea Youths, United as One Through Sport
Activities. This year’s theme was decided in support of the upcoming
2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. As sports transcend cultures and
language barriers, this programme hopes to unite ASEAN-Korea youths
together and inculcate them with the Olympic Spirit through sports
activities. In addition, as the programme will be held during winter,
it will be a good experience for ASEAN youths from tropical
countries to experience winter sports.
Participants are required to participate
and respond actively prior to and during the programme that is
